A Vision for East Cambridge – Luca Leone, Wednesday 2nd October
At CAR’s latest ‘showroom’, Luca Leone presented a provocation and opportunity to combine the National Trust’s Wicken Fen Vision with the masterplanning principles forEast Cambridge: a new development on the current airport and Marshall’s site.
Advocating a judicious balance between the city’s need for residential and commercial expansion on the one hand and the imperative to create sustainable communities in close proximity with nature on the other, Luca sets out his vision for how this might be realised for the benefit of all the inhabitants of Greater Cambridge.
