Meetings and events in North-East Cambridge

The Arbury Carnival has become an annual tradition for expressing community spirit, which was very inspiring to experience first-hand. As have conversations with two local community organisations who run community centres in this area. Golzar, from the NCCP, and I spoke about an exciting project collaboration and the most pressing concerns for the area. Alan, from the Arbury Community Centre, gave me a real insight into local life. He also detailed the rich and varied work that this independent community centre does, and the many incremental changes that have been done to the building to improve its functionality.
